The OSB and black panel utility / shower room has divided opinion. The black radiator is perfect for hanging out the washing.

Our sleep is much better - we are sleeping deeper and having vivid dreams (we enjoy sharing our bonkers dreams over breakfast). We think it is down to Paul again, taking away CO2 and supplying us with nice fresh air. My chronic insomnia has been cured! An expensive solution, but worth every penny.
The original 1960s timber stair handrail has been stripped and sanded and reused as a handrail and door handles. There was even enough left over for handles and handrail at my parent's house.
There is far less dust; Paul (the MVHR) must be working hard, and what dust there is looks different than 'normal' dust - a bit like ripped up tissues.
We now have a lawn. Thanks to GGs for expert laying. Excellent (LT7) turfs supplied by AllTurf Ltd from Knutsford.
Just in time for summer holidays. Last week we changed Paul's filters for the first time, after four months use. It looks like we should have done it before - they were black, and grey (intake and exhaust respectively). Admittedly there's been finishing work going on, worsening the exhaust condition, but that's a lot of black stuff on the intake filter, otherwise coming in through windows.
Interesting that our power consumption has more than halved this week. Need to keep an eye on that. |
